YMM’s Summer Camps 2024

This summer, our camps were yet another testament to God’s faithfulness and provisions. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we were able to offer a variety of engaging activities for our enthusiastic campers, and skilled guest speakers guided us in creating everything from delightful special occasion cakes to a sturdy bench, providing both fun and practical skills.

In our day camp, we focused on spiritual gifts, and the campers watched presentations on what gifts are and how they manifest themselves in our lives. Each child was also provided the opportunity to take an assessment to determine their unique gifts. As the Lord would have it, these gifts were spontaneously yet clearly displayed during discussions, daily activities and in self directed group skits performed by the campers, thereby allowing everyone to get a better understanding of the concept.

The residential camp explored the concept of gifts even further, with the goal being that each child should leave camp with at least one new skill under their belt.

We’ve shared a few photos to capture these memorable moments. Once again, a heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who participated and supported this event; your contributions of time, adventures and supplies have truly made a difference in the lives of our campers!
